Le "5W" (e non solo): La chiave per conversare in Inglese
Saper porre le domande giuste è, paradossalmente, più importante di saper dare le risposte. Nella lingua inglese, la struttura delle conversazioni poggia su alcuni pilastri fondamentali chiamati Question Words (o Wh- words). Senza di esse, saremmo limitati a rispondere "sì" o "no", perdendo l'opportunità di approfondire, conoscere nuove persone ed esplorare il mondo che ci circonda.
Perché sono così importanti?
Le parole interrogative come Who, What, Where e le loro "sorelle" sono i mattoni della curiosità. Impararle non significa solo arricchire il vocabolario, ma padroneggiare la sintassi: in inglese, infatti, la domanda richiede spesso un’inversione tra soggetto e verbo o l’uso degli ausiliari (come do o does).
